USO California Welcomes Ryan Okita as the new Executive Director
Ryan is a dedicated and innovative non-profit executive with over twenty years of experience in fundraising, strategic planning, budgeting, and program delivery. His effectiveness in leading staff, building strong relationships with the community, and creating successful strategies for organizational enhancement were celebrated by all providing feedback during this comprehensive selection process.
At the American Cancer Society, over the last decade, Ryan has provided oversight for Division-wide planning, change management, fundraising, evaluation, execution, and achievement of program service goals for an area that includes Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Alaska, Hawaii and Guam.
Prior to the American Cancer Society, Ryan served as a Senior Business Development Director for the American Heart Association and a Field Services Manager for the Feedback Foundation of Anaheim, California.
Ryan will be based out of Anaheim, CA.
