USO California, a partner of San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW), will bring pop-up activations to over 1,500 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen during the 22nd annual Fleet Week event taking place October 3-11, 2021. Since 1981, SFFW has been held every year in October and includes SFFW’s air show, parade of ships, and a variety of community events that have become a significant and integral part of the city’s local culture and economy.
During this year’s SFFW celebration, USO Northern California will continue its support of military service members and their families with USO Pop-Up “Military Lounges” that will provide over 1,500 service members with free meals, refreshments, comfort items and activities. Each pop-up lounge will provide every service member with the opportunity to experience classic USO hospitality with a special touch of San Francisco gratitude from USO staff, volunteers and corporate partners.
