USO Kids Story Time: An Afternoon of Tales, Crafts, and Treats!
Join us at the USO Center for an afternoon of creativity, imagination, and fun! This month’s theme is “Adventures with Harold and the Purple Crayon.”
📚 Story Time: Embark on a whimsical journey as we read “Harold and the Purple Crayon” by Crockett Johnson, a classic story about creativity and exploring limitless possibilities.
🎨 Craft Activity: After the story, kids will unleash their imaginations by creating their very own “purple crayon masterpiece.” Using purple crayons and other craft materials, they’ll draw and craft their own adventure scenes to take home!
🍿 Themed Snack: Wrap up the afternoon with a purple-themed snack.
This exciting event is perfect for children ages 2-6 and is sure to inspire creativity, big smiles, and new friendships.
