USO Kids Story Time: An Afternoon of Tales, Crafts, and Treats!
Join us at the USO Center for an afternoon of holiday fun, creativity, and laughter! This month’s theme is “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!”
📚 Story Time: Get ready for giggles as we read “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!” by Mo Willems, a hilarious holiday twist on the beloved pigeon’s antics as he dreams of sleigh-driving adventures.
🎨 Craft Activity: After the story, kids will create their own “Holiday Pigeon Ornament” using colorful paper, feathers, and glitter—a festive keepsake to hang on the tree!
🍿 Themed Snack: Wrap up the afternoon with a holiday-themed snack, including “reindeer trail mix” and warm cocoa with whipped cream.
This festive event is perfect for children ages 2-6 and is sure to bring laughter, holiday cheer, and the joy of making new friends.
